Here’s the scoop:
🥾 The Hike: The trail starts near Matura and takes about 45 minutes through a mix of dry forest and river paths. Some sections may require light climbing or hopping across rocks. It’s a moderate challenge with loads of scenery.
💦 The Reward: The Mermaid Pools are crystal-clear and deep enough for swimming. They’re surrounded by mossy rocks and vines — ideal for a peaceful soak, cliff jumps (with caution), or just lounging in paradise.
🍍 Post-Hike Treat: Bring your own snacks or enjoy a stop in Sangre Grande for food after the hike.
