About the event
Here’s the scoop:
🥾 The Hike:This is a challenging 4–5 hour hike (round trip) from Blanchisseuse to Paria Bay, following part of the North Coast Trail. It includes steep climbs, river crossings, and rugged, muddy terrain — but it’s well-marked and rewarding.
🌊 The Reward:Paria Bay is a remote golden-sand beach, backed by forest and framed by cliffs. A short 15-minute detour inland takes you to Paria Waterfall, cascading into a cool basin perfect for a post-hike rinse.
🍍 Post-Hike Treat:There are no vendors along the route, so pack a full lunch. Some hikers camp overnight to make the most of the beach.
